Kate Dawson, our principal agent at Ferri Dawson Insurance Group won Best Insurance Agent in Westmoreland County in the TribLive Best of the Best Awards. Each year the TribLive grants these official community choice awards by allowing the community to submit nominations to identify the top 5 businesses in each category – which appear on the ballot. Readers then vote from these finalists to name the top 3 in each category – including the winner.
The Best of the Best Awards celebrate and recognize the best the community has to offer. This is an incredible achievement, as over 65,000 nominations were counted in the initial round of the Westmoreland regional contest. By contest-end, participants submitted over 286,000 votes.
Last year, Kate ranked Top 3 Best Insurance Agent, and in 2019 was awarded Best Insurance Agent in Delmont/Murrysville/Export in the Quest for the Best Contest.
Westmoreland communities included Murrysville, Delmont, Export, Penn Trafford, Norwin, Irwin, North Huntingdon, Greensburg, Derry, Ligonier, Latrobe, Pleasant Unity, Youngwood, Scottdale, Mt. Pleasant, Jeannette, New Stanton, Monessen, Donegal, and surrounding communities – and is the largest footprint of the four regional contests.
