We are thrilled to announce Ferri Dawson Insurance Group won Gold for Best Insurance Agent in Westmoreland County and Silver for Allegheny East in the 2025 TribLIVE Best of the Best Awards. Each year TribLIVE grants these official community choice awards by allowing the community to submit nominations to identify the top 5 businesses in each category – which appear on the ballot. Readers then vote from these finalists to name the top 3 in each category, including the winner.

The Best of the Best Awards celebrate and recognize the best the community has to offer. This is an incredible achievement, as over 65,000 nominations were counted last year in the initial round of the Westmoreland regional contest. Winning or placing among the top two finalists in the TribLIVE Best of the Best Community Choice Awards is a prestigious achievement that reflects a company’s excellence in its respective industry.

Owner, Kate Ferri Dawson reflected on the award and why it’s important to the agency staff. “Best Insurance Agent in the Best of the Best Awards is a confirmation of our commitment to both the insurance industry and our clients. This award is an annual goal for Team FDIG. Commitment to excellence is a hallmark of our agency. Best Insurance Agent is a benchmark and it guides every call and every interaction with our clients as we strive to deliver an experience deserving of this recognition.” She also shared, “Our team is devoted and driven and they have earned this recognition by going above and beyond. To our current clients: these awards are the result of the work we do for you and reinforces your choice to trust us with your coverage. To prospective clients: this is a promise of what you can expect with us.”
